Enginuity’s electronics prototyping capability is growing! The addition of a new PCB milling machine to our electronics lab means we can design and build prototypes (or do small production runs) of newly designed PCBs — printed circuit boards — in-house.

Ignite’s Innovation Hub
Doug Jones coordinates Ignite, an innovation hub expanding from Yarmouth in central Nova Scotia, to Stellarton in northern Nova Scotia. Ignite’s Mission is to help entrepreneurs grow their companies and their economic impact and their goal is to provide physical space and support for these local entrepreneurs. Their locations provide the tools they need for their businesses, and are they supplied with basic prototyping, video equipment, drones, and more. We’d like to congratulate Doug on Ignite’s new facilities and Enginuity appreciates the opportunity to be one of their Corporate Partners!
Enginuity’s Engineering Design Open House
Here is a recent article by Entrevestor that acknowledges Enginuity as we showcased our new facility and some of our partnerships during our Open House in November 2019. We have great plans for growth and additional robotics work in the upcoming years by growing our clientele, adding more employees, and production. Our facility allows for a place to work with clients where they can be included in engineering team decisions and further understand our engineering design process.

Ben Garvey grew up sailing the high sea, crossing the Atlantic on a number of occasions in his sailboat. A mechanical engineer by trade, Garvey was inspired by his sea voyages and success in navigating naval challenges to establish Enginuity Inc. in 2003, a Halifax-based engineering design firm. Garvey wanted to build a company that could provide innovative and practical solutions to unique problems.
