Enginuity designed a series of iterative prototypes, explored design directions, and built many prototypes for various stages of medical testing during ABK’s medical approval process.

The Challenge

ABK is developing a new generation of glass bead embolization tools to accelerate and improve direct cancer/tumor treatment. Interventional radiological approaches to direct cancer treatment demand continuous x-ray and existing treatments are not viable. Dosing and flowing glass beads into the vascular system is a complex challenge.

The Solution

Working directly with the ABK clinical team, Enginuity designed a series of iterative prototypes, explored design directions and built many protypes for various stages of medical testing during ABK’s medical apporval process.
