RF Plasma Drive Rocket Propulsion System
Enginuity’s team assisted with material selection, heat dissipation approaches, and physical system design. The team also built in-house prototype parts that were sent to NASA for testing.
Rocket science is complex. Aethera is designing rocket propulsion technology using their unique radio frequency amplification design. The challenge is to dissipate very large amounts of heat in space.
Enginuity assisted with material selection, heat dissipation approaches, and physical system design. Once complete, the entire design was subjected to a suite of dynamic analyses to ensure fitness for purpose. Enginuity’s in-house machine shop also built prototype parts that were sent to NASA for testing.
“Enginuity’s mixed range of skills from design and manufacturing to theoretical thermal dynamics were deployed in this unique project, partly funded by NASA and the Canadian Space Agency. Our relationship with Enginuity has blossomed based on success and they are now an embedded part of our team.”
We’re always working on something great. These other projects are pretty cool too.
