We are currently Atlantic Canada’s leader in innovation and design, and we need YOUR help driving our mission to be Canada’s most impactful engineering and design group. Are you our missing link?
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
We are seeking a high-energy, strategic, and hands-on Director of Sales Operations to lead our revenue-generating engine. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing a lean, high-performing team of Sales and Marketing Specialists.
The ideal candidate understands that selling engineering services isn’t about “closing a deal”, it’s about building trust, understanding complex technical needs, and articulating the ROI of innovation. You will be responsible for the entire customer journey, from first touchpoint (Marketing/Sales) to signed contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Revenue Growth: Collaborate with the COO on the annual sales targets and develop the strategic plan to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the full sales lifecycle. Ensure the Marketing & Sales team is generating high-quality leads and they are effectively moving them through the funnel with the assistance of Program Managers (PgM’s) and Discipline Leads (DL’s).
- Process Optimization: Review and refine our CRM processes, sales scripts, and outreach cadences to improve conversion rates.
- Key Account Management: Directly support high-value negotiations and maintain relationships with Enginuity’s most strategic partners alongside the COO and CEO and other contract resources.

- Campaign ROI: Track the effectiveness of marketing spend in relation to sales opportunities generated.
Team Development & Coaching

- Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs for the entire growth team, e.g., outreach volume, discovery calls and proposal win rates.
- Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and technical empathy, ensuring the team understands the engineering value we provide.
THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- Experience: 6+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Professional Services, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Technical SaaS is highly preferred but not required. You must be comfortable discussing technical concepts.
- The Hybrid Mindset: Proven experience managing both Sales and Marketing functions, or a very close collaboration between the two.
- Tech Stack: Expert-level knowledge of CRM systems and Sales Engagement tools.
- Local Connectivity: A strong network within the Atlantic Canadian industrial or tech ecosystem is a significant asset.
Who you are:
- A Builder: You enjoy building processes and teams rather than just maintaining them.
- Analytical: You make decisions based on data, not just gut feeling.
- Articulate: You can translate engineer-speak into business-value-speak for C-suite clients.
- Resilient: You understand the long sales cycles of the engineering world and know how to keep a team motivated.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- To remain nimble and responsive to a fast-paced and competitive industry
- An affinity for problem solving
- Insatiable curiosity
- An openness to wear many hats
