Before donning the engineer’s hat, Dave spent over a decade as a Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedic, accumulating a wealth of experience in industrial, ground, air, and sea operations.

He has offered his skills to the Arctic & Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) programs.

Dave Pedersen
Capability Sustainment Project Engineer with Thales AJISS
Dave Pedersen is the Capability Sustainment Project Engineer with Thales Canada. In his role he is responsible for the planning and delivery of all engineering change on the AJISS program. Prior to his current role, he’s held various engineering positions, including work on the Arctic & Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), now River Class Destroyer, programs.
Prior to his experience in engineering, he was a Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedic for over a decade, with experiences in industrial, ground, air, and sea operations; as well as experience as a Paramedic Crew Chief and Instructor.
He lives in Middle Sackville NS with his wife and kids (and fur babies), is an avid reader, chef (BBQ), and watercraft enthusiast.
