Enginuity is looking to hire an Electronics Engineer to continue expanding the electronics team and provide excellence in delivering solutions to technical challenges brought by clients and internal projects. The position is responsible to develop industry leading, market-ready technology solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Learn new technologies and skillsets to adept to client needs and provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Lead the design and development of electronic hardware, including schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with performance, reliability, and manufacturing standards.
- Develop, test, and debug firmware for embedded systems using industry best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware issues during development.
- Interact with clients to translate customer needs to project requirements.
- Manage project execution through planning and coordination of project resources.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Maintain and support a positive environment for learning and growth within the team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience designing embedded systems.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills and technology quickly.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience designing a variety of circuit types, including analog, low power, high speed digital, and RF.
- Schematic capture and PCB layout design using tools such as Altium or KiCad.
- Knowledge of common communication interfaces, for example I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and RS-485.
- Experience working different microcontrollers, including but not limited to STM32 nRF, and Arduino.
- Knowledge of common IoT interfaces such as Bluetooth, Wifi, cell and LoRa.
- Firmware architecture experience, both bare metal and with an RTOS like FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
- Embedded Linux development.
- Circuit design using FPGAs.
- DSP development.
- Familiarity with higher level languages such as Python.

Our office is located in the heart of Spryfield, but more specifically, at 264 Herring Cove Road in Suite #100. HOURS OF OPERATION:
To the public, we answer questions and attend meetings between 9am -5pm. Our corporate culture values work/life balance and are proud to offer staff the ability to alter their start and end times of their workday. We recognize that not all individuals work most productively during a 9am-5pm schedule, therefore, we are happy to accommodate to your most productive working hours. As long as you complete your 8 hours of work and attend scheduled meetings – we support your altered workday!
