What makes Enginuity's PCB design services different?
Our multidisciplinary engineering team, which includes mechanical expertise, delivers PCB designs optimized for performance, reliability, and rapid fabrication. With our strong regulatory knowledge across industries and established relationships with fabrication partners, we ensure seamless transitions from design to production.
What information do you need to get started on a PCB design project?
To begin your PCB design project, we typically need your schematic (if available), any mechanical constraints (like enclosure size or mounting requirements), and a list of key components or a preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM). It also helps to know your performance targets (such as signal speeds, power requirements, or trace width), relevant environmental factors (e.g. temperature or vibration), and your production volume.
If you’re starting from scratch, no problem! We will work with you to define the full set of design requirements. Our team can assist in developing the PCB layout, stack-up, and routing strategy directly based on your goals.
What PCB design software do you use?
Our team is proficient with industry-standard PCB design tools including Altium Designer, and KiCad. We can work with your preferred platform or recommend the best option for your specific project needs.
How do you handle intellectual property protection?
We treat all client designs with strict confidentiality. We're happy to sign NDAs before beginning any project discussions, and we maintain secure design file management systems.
Can you support rapid prototyping needs?
Yes, we have established relationships with quick-turn PCB fabrication and assembly services, allowing us to support accelerated development schedules when needed. For simple PCBs, we have an in-house milling machine to support rapid prototyping.
Do you provide support after the design is complete?
Absolutely. We offer comprehensive post-design support including manufacturing liaison services, testing assistance, troubleshooting, and design iteration if needed.
